3 days into NEAT 11 and we’re having a great time!

We are having a great time at the NEAT 11 Festival here in Nottingham! Highlights so far have included Blast Theory’s “Ulrike and Eamon Compliant” – a fantastic walking and listening experience which places you, the listener/walker at the heart of a challenging political scenario,  a reading of “The Iron”s by Anna Yablonskaya and Gob Squad’s “The Kitchen” which was humorous, philosophical and brilliantly reflected on our relationship with our past and future selves. Delivered with their usual technical brilliance the show ended with the four actors swapping places with four members of the audience who found themselves on stage and on screen.

And there’s so much to look forward to. This week sees Woyzeck at Nottingham Playhouse on 3 and 4 June, lots of exciting shows programed by our friends at Hatch,  and an amazing series of readings also at the Playhouse by writers from this region and from across Europe which are all free of charge! Tickets are going fast so please don’t miss our Scratch Nights on 1 and 8 June and our double bill of excellent new plays from writers MUFARO MAKUBIKA and CATH ASHDOWN on Monday 6 June.
