Drop everything! There’s shows galore to get to over the next six weeks!

There’s so much exciting new work to see inside and outside theatres

got
your eye on the ball!

So – to keep you in the picture – this is what we’re making a beeline
for over the next month or so:

This Sunday (16 October) Hatch:Fresh is happening at and in between
assorted venues in
Leicester including the Y Theatre and Embrace Arts. For the full
programme check out the Hatch website.

We are also looking forward to Kevin Fegan’s adaptation of “Slave”
which won the Pete Postlethwaite Award for best new play 2011. It’s
coming to Derby’s Guildhall from 18 – 22 October and you can get
tickets online from the Derby Live website. Make a date at Lakeside
Arts Centre for Stephen Lowe’s new play “Seance on a Sunday Afternoon”
which opens on 18 October. Call 0115 8467777 for tickets.

Over in Coventry, the excellent “A Play, A Pie and A Pint” is coming
to The Belgrade Theatre from 25 October with a selection of new plays
by writers including David Watson and Katie Douglas.

In Nottingham we can’t wait for Mufaro Makubika’s new play “Waiting
for the Tide” which will be given a rehearsd reading on 29 October at
8pm.

And finally….you’d be made to miss playwright Andy Barrett’s
collaboration with Esther Richardson, Adam McCready, Kate Unwin and
cast for “Skybus” a show which takes you from Derby to East Midlands
airport and back. You can catch it from 24 Octpber until early
November. Tickets are selling fast and are available from the Derby

See you there!
